About the role
As a Shop Mechanic, you will work on all makes and models of agriculture equipment in the shop, ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely to support our customers and maximize their uptime. Each day, you will analyze and diagnose agriculture equipment malfunctions or failures, then repair, replace, or rebuild components such as:
- Engines, transmissions, carburetors, and final drives
- Steering, clutches, and cross shafts
- Hydraulic components including pump motors, valves, and related parts
- Electrical and air systems
You will also assist with pre-delivery setup and installation on all makes and models of John Deere equipment and allied products. Work alongside trained mechanics in a well-resourced shop where your career can flourish.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of working knowledge of small engines and agricultural equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and air conditioning systems
- Team-oriented personality with the ability to work without direct supervision
- Basic computer knowledge
- Self-motivation and assertiveness
- Must provide own tools

$25+/hr (Depending on Experience)
