Shop Mechanic

Job Summary

Pape’ Machinery, Inc. - Agriculture & Turf Division - Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Shop Mechanic to join their team. This position offers a career path with competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and a strong work-life balance.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and diagnose malfunctions or failures in small engines and agricultural equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems.
• Repair, replace, or rebuild engines, transmissions, carburetors, final drives, steering, clutches, cross shafts, hydraulic components, electrical systems, and air systems.
• Assist with pre-delivery setup and installation on all makes and models of John Deere equipment and allied products.

What You Need

• 2 or more years of working knowledge of small engines and agricultural equipment.
• A team-oriented personality and focus on self-motivation and assertiveness.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation

$29.98-44.97/hr (Depending on Experience)
