SHOP MECHANIC
About The Position
Shop Service Techs function as part of the Service team and are responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of aerial, material handling, and construction equipment along with air compressors.
In This Role, You Will
- Troubleshoot and Repair a variety of equipment with a focus on aerial equipment and air compressors at the local branch to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards.
- Effectively communicate with all involved parties including Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about possible downtime and job progress updates.
- Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision, to decrease equipment downtime, while also maintaining safe working standards.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical training/education and/or experience in a related field
- Possessing or ability to obtain complete line of tools
- Above average communication skills
- Ability to obtain equipment operator certifications
- Ability to read or be trained in reading schematics
- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Having general knowledge of operating various equipment
- Ability to accomplish duties with accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
