Airgas is Hiring for a Shop Laborer in Charlotte, NC!
Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Equipment repair and maintenance training is an asset
- Keep a clean working environment and assist other technicians in the shop as needed
- Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines
- Test and calibrate machines to see if they are functional for rent or sale
- Repaint parts, touch up paint, and put decals on welders to keep up the general appearance
- Replace defective parts and do any preventative maintenance required
- Get parts as required in order to complete repairs
- Inspect returned equipment for proper operation and /or damage by the customer
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack or other necessary equipment to move machines and equipment in the shop
- Maintains communication with all branch personnel
- Performs Other Related Operational/shop Duties As Required
Qualifications
- Required Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: 0-1 years of related technical experience; we welcome those early in their career or transitioning from similar fields
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License
