Shop Labor

• Operate bolt forging machine and press machine
• Inspect products to ensure quality by using precision measuring instruments, gages, and visual inspection
• Process materials on production equipment
• Report daily production totals
• Detect and report defective materials
• Check parts in process as directed by work instructions
• Fill out part identification tags
• Move parts using pallet jacks, hoists, or forklifts
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area
• Identify and document downtime
• Identify and document scrap
• Assist other operators as needed during change overs

Qualifications

• Operate bolt forging machine and press machine
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions
• Good eye hand coordination
• Basic math skills
• Experience with handheld measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Ability to be trained to set up coils and set dies
• Positive attitude/team player
• Must have experience in die changeover and set up of stamping presses

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum one-year related experience and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• High school diploma or GED required
