Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Shop Helper in USA Fontana, CA.
Responsibilities
- Cut material in preparation for fabrication or processing
- Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment
- Assist machine operators (press brake, punch press, and laser) with loading and unloading items from the machines
- Assist welders with structural welds by holding materials in place
- Transfer raw materials, finished products, tools, or equipment between work areas on the production floor using powered equipment (ex. Forklifts)
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Complete other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years’ experience in a related capacity
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately
- Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements
- Basic understanding of tools (ex. Tape measure, impact drill, sander, etc.)
- Ability to operate powered equipment including a forklift

- Physical strength to lift up to 35 pounds at times
- Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform assigned tasks
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection while working on the production floor
