About the role
The Shop Foreman is a Leadership Position within our Fleet Team, partnering with the Fleet Manager, Fleet Supervisor, and Fleet Coordinator to schedule fleet maintenance work on various vehicles. The Shop Foreman will supervise a diverse Fleet Team and work with them to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, manage work orders, and monitor shop efficiency and performance.
Responsibilities
- Teach, coach, and lead others in a positive manner, creating learning and growth paths for team members
- Work with vendors and hold them accountable, creating systems for in-house work
- Communicate thoroughly with internal and external stakeholders
- Verify and audit work orders for accuracy, maintain vehicle compliance, and update systems
- Respond to road calls and assist with roadside repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful work environment
- Update and audit vehicle records, inspect vehicles for condition and safety, and track maintenance records
- Support the IT Team in managing on-board shuttle technology
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years of maintenance experience working with various vehicles
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a fleet maintenance, automotive repair, or transportation operations environment
- Experience leading others and making difficult decisions
- Understanding of budget concepts and cost reduction strategies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage vendor relationships
- Proficiency in fleet management software and related systems
- Experience auditing and verifying work orders for labor hours and parts accuracy
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work with and hold vendors accountable, be a proactive communicator, and have experience with fleet telematics systems, DVIR processes, and heavy-duty and light-duty vehicle components.

Compensation: $45 - $55 per hour
