We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead a high-performing service department specializing in Porsche vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Porsche technician with leadership experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional workmanship, mentoring technicians, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of service technicians by providing technical guidance and hands-on assistance.
- Assign repair orders efficiently to maximize productivity and shop performance.
- Perform quality control inspections on completed repairs to ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards and minimize comebacks.
- Diagnose and complete complex mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and overall shop performance.
- Participate in customer road tests and assist with difficult diagnostic concerns when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Promote ongoing technical training and professional development for all service department personnel.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a Porsche dealership or Porsche-authorized service facility.
- Previous leadership experience as a Shop Foreman, Lead Technician, or Master Technician is highly preferred.
- Porsche Silver or Gold Certification is strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Porsche diagnostic equipment, repair procedures, and service standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Pay
Competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000, based on experience and certifications.
