Shop Foreman

Quirk Auto Dealers is looking for an experienced professional to join our service team as a Shop Foreman. We focus on building strong relationships with our customers, fellow staff, and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and perform the most technical automotive repairs.
• Assign work to technicians and provide accurate estimates of repair costs.
• Establish deadlines and modify work schedules to meet them as needed.
• Manage and maintain a safe work environment, perform inspections, and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Train and mentor junior repair technicians, leading by example.
• Inspect work while it is being done and after completion.
• Provide additional assistance as needed, as directed by the Service Manager.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in vehicle repair or maintenance equipment, or equivalent supervisory experience in a repair shop.
• Ongoing pursuit of further certifications and training (a condition of employment).
• Knowledge of repair procedures and basic computer software.
• Ability to manage and organize work time and related activities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to continuously learn and improve, even in a managerial role.
