Shop Foreman

About the role

BMW Service Center, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking an automotive Shop Foreman to lead and support the service department in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest levels of quality and productivity in the service department to ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired properly for a superior customer experience.
• Ensure customers have a world-class service experience at every step along their ownership journey, especially in timely and accurate servicing and repair of their vehicles.
• Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and practical expertise through the study of technical manuals and bulletins, classroom training, communication with factory service representatives, and actual hands-on experience.
• Actively assist service technicians with diagnosis and repair of vehicles, personally inspect all major repair jobs for proper completion, and meet with group leaders and management to review performance and administrative matters.
• Cook up a motivational environment for high productivity through leadership and coordination of ongoing training for service technicians, setting goals based on individual skill levels.

Qualifications

• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
• 2-5 years of supervisor experience preferred, and Master Level credentials (e.g., ASE certification).
