Shop Equipment Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools as required.
• Document service work when necessary.
• Order needed parts from vendors as required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technician experience with repairing and maintaining construction equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment.
• Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Experience in using diagnostic tools.
• Highly developed mechanical background knowledge, particularly with various engine types, hydraulic, and electrical experience.
• Own the tools applicable to the position.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma.
• A valid driver’s license.
