This position is located at the Denver, CO branch for MGX Equipment Services and reports to the Service Manager.
About the role
- Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days of continuous service.
- Eligible for the Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year.

Responsibilities
- Read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical).
- Perform preventative maintenance (oil changes) and light equipment repair (brake jobs).
- Conduct light troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform job functions in a safe manner and follow all health and safety requirements.
- Wear all Personal Proteive Equipment (P.P.E.) required by company policy.
- Actively participate in safety and health training.
- Bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to management’s attention or correct those you can.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician required (vocational training may be considered in lieu of experience).
- Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Must have a mechanical background and related experience with electrical and hydraulics.
- Must be a self-starter with the initiative to advance.
- Must have a clean background and demonstrate safe work habits.
- Possession of a strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic set of hand tools required.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position with typical 1st shift hours; overtime and weekend work may be possible based on business conditions.
- Exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures, various weather conditions, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
