About Portraits Our Portland shop is where every Portraits piece becomes a real physical object. We're looking for a production lead who has run a fine-art or high-volume photo print operation and wants to help scale ours into a national-brand consumer product while keeping gallery-level quality. What you'll do Run day-to-day print production — queue management, QA, color calibration, paper sourcing.Partner with our framing team on quality, speed, and waste targets.Build and maintain SOPs as the operation scales from one shop to multiple.Troubleshoot hard color and composition problems and feed learnings back to engineering.Hire and mentor a growing production team.Own our quality metrics — you are accountable for the piece that reaches the customer's wall. What you have 7+ years in fine-art printing, photo production, or high-end commercial print.Deep knowledge of giclée, color profiles (ICC), and paper stocks.Operations mindset — comfortable writing SOPs, sequencing a queue, reading a dashboard.Experience scaling a team from small to medium size.Calm under delivery pressure.
