Shop Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Time Shop Assistant in our Warehouse. This person will assist with Shipping / Receiving, logistics, organizing, checking in equipment, and driving to local rental warehouses. In this role you will assist with all shipping and receiving functions, as well as the documentation of all incoming packages and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and completing driving logs.
• Deliver and pick up equipment in a timely and professional manner and extend excellent customer service.
• Ensure that equipment is ready for shipment and will operate correctly for customer satisfaction.
• Travel to offsite locations to deliver equipment and assist with pre-and post-show setup as needed.
• Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and perform regular inspections of tires and fluid levels and notify management of any maintenance or repairs that are needed on any fleet vehicle.
• Aid in gathering equipment for packages when requested.
• Process FedEx and SOS shipping documents.

Requirements

• Experience with receiving / expediting, asset management and inventory control preferred.
• Capable of working with the Entire Office suite, especially Excel, Crystal reporting system experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record is required.
• 1 - 2 years experience in a Warehouse or similar facilities is preferred.
• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and problems and follows through on commitments made to internal and external customers.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
