Shoe Mill Assistant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager is an on-site, full-time position at Shoe Mill, Washington Square Mall. This role helps maintain the superior level of customer service Shoe Mill stores are known for.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store location.
• Store merchandising
• Maintain excellent customer service
• Aid in team communication and morale
• Staff training and supervision
• Inventory management
• Processing and reporting sales transactions
• Store maintenance
• Ensure the store is clean, orderly, and presentable to company standards.
• Set sales goals, stock, and maintenance assignments.
• Aid in employee training and development.
• Ensure accurate processing of each day's transactions and inventory.
• Respond to internal and external requests courteously and efficiently.

Requirements

Full-time position (over 30 hours per week), initial training rate of $18.00 per hour, and upon completion of training, the position becomes commission-based at 10% of net personal sales. There's no cap on earnings with unlimited earning potential. This position has a guaranteed minimum hourly pay rate.

Skills

• Retail sales experience required
• Supervisory experience preferred
