Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee production work on customer equipment, ensuring that production workers are focused and productive at their assigned duties.
- All work meets appropriate quality requirements.
- Safety procedures and policies are followed.
- Hours and costs are recorded accurately.
- Work is planned with care so that customer schedule requirements are met.
- Accurate, timely, and sufficiently detailed information is communicated to management to support decision-making, including labor and resource allocation among current projects and estimates for future project bids.
- Cookordination work and resources with fellow supervisors and other production team leaders so that the production operation can operate efficiently and profitably.
- Interact effectively with the customer's representatives while meeting their schedule and daily requirements.
- Ensure that the correct materials are ordered and delivered on a timely basis.
- Provide other support as needed by the shipyard supervisor and other managers.
- Maintain a clean and safe shipyard, and foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of five years’ production experience and a minimum of two years supervisory experience.
- Required to have a valid driver’s license and TWIC.
- Required to learn safety rules and become familiar with proper usage of safety equipment.
- Required to comply with all Safety and Pollution Prevention Regulations and Procedures at all times under the direction of Stevens Towing Company, Inc.'s safety policies.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of five years’ production experience and a minimum of two years supervisory experience.
- Required to have a valid driver’s license and TWIC.
- Required to learn safety rules and become familiar with proper usage of safety equipment.

Skills
- Experience in drydocking tugs, barges, and other marine vessels.
- Ability to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required and needed.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe shipyard.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
