About the role
Dover Food Retail (DFR) is a leading manufacturer of Display Cases, Specialty Products, Refrigeration Systems, Power Systems and Comprehensive Services. DFR is part of the Refrigeration and Food Equipment segment of the Dover Corporation® (NYSE: DOV).
Responsibilities
- Building OSB and carboard boxes
- Build pallets with use of hand and power tools
- Prepare products for shipment
- Wrap cases and ensure proper instructions are included
- May load cases with forklift
- Clean cases and workstation as needed
- Take pictures of product
- Inventory control
- Quality inspection of parts
- Picking and packing items to ship
- Identify power and hand tools used on their assigned product line
- Read rulers, tape measurers, metal squares, and other measuring instruments
- Fasten parts together with bolts, nails, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners
- Update computer systems with shipment information and may be responsible for basic data entry
- Work at different workstations as production needs require
- Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
- Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual’s product line or work cell
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Occasionally – Pushing/Pulling, Keyboarding, Neck Rotation/Extension, Visual Acuity (Near/Far), and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs alone and 75lbs assisted
- Frequently – Sitting, Stooping/Twisting, Reaching, Gripping, and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs
- Constantly – Standing and Walking
