About the role
The Warehouse Worker II role is within the Operations department at Dover Food Retail (DFR), a division of Dover Corporation. DFR manufactures Display Cases, Specialty Products, Refrigeration Systems, Power Systems, and comprehensive services, innovating in glass doors and intelligent merchandising technologies.
Responsibilities
- Complete general housekeeping duties
- Receive and count inventory, and record data manually or using a computer
- Put correct inventory in correct bins
- Pick correct parts from locations to be used on the floor
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor
- Maintain work area in clean, safe and orderly manner
- Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual’s product line or work cell
- Operate fork-truck
- Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands
- Sitting, Standing, Walking, Stooping/Twisting, Pushing/Pulling, Squatting, Reaching, Gripping, and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs alone and 100lbs assisted

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a warehouse or similar setting preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures
- Basic understanding of inventory management
