Shipping Utility (Tues-Sat 5AM Start)

About the Role

This position requires knowledge of both Shipping & Receiving processes, flexibility in job assignments, and the ability to operate Lift Equipment and RF units. Physical skills to lift, push, or pull substantial product weight are also necessary. The role involves picking up and off-loading products, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring compliance with safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Pick up product from Staging Area and offload onto Rack Shelving units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks.
• Pick up product from Rack Shelving Units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks and offload onto Dock/Bay area.
• Accurately scan all merchandise utilizing an RF gun when placing products.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ensure full compliance with all safety programs while operating and not operating material handling equipment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to operate a variety of industrial lift equipment and RF units.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Skills

• General understanding of distribution center operations.
• Experience using RF units for accurate product movement.
• Ability to operate an Order Picker and other Industrial Lift Equipment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proactive and effective communication skills, including comprehension and communication of detailed instructions, reading, writing, and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Preferred: Technical knowledge of WMS.

Physical Demands

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, and handle/move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
• Move objects up to 250 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions (90%).
• Sitting and desk/phone work (5% each).

Pay

$18.00 - $21.00/hour (Based on Experience). Expected base pay: $20.00/hour (Based on Experience).
