Position Summary
The responsibilities of the logistics clerk are to facilitate the transportation of materials in and out of our facility.
Essential Job Duties
- Maintain paperwork / records as required by our standards.
- Match up shipping documents.
- Close and process orders in DMAC.
- Create BOL’s.
- Work with planners and sales on organizing shipments.
- Communicate with carriers on pick ups, lost shipments, and tracking.
- Enter pick up requests on the carrier’s web sites.
- Work with outside processors.
- Schedule our trucks.
- Able to deal with constant change.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must have knowledge of bills of lading, inventory management practices, and receiving.
- Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety procedures.
- Knowledge of logistics practices preferred.
- Knowledge of international trade desired.
Education and/or Experience
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Pay and Benefits
- Hourly compensation for this role is $19.00 per hour.
- This full-time position is eligible for a paid time off plan that includes 10 additional company paid holidays, 401(k) and/or Roth 401(k) with company match after one (1) month of employment plus quarterly Core Defined Contributions, and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
