Shipping Technician - 1st Shift - Amarillo Ground Beef

About the role

This position involves working in a cold, damp environment with temperatures of 45 degrees or less. The role includes a variety of tasks such as paperwork, wrapping, loading, and using a computer or scanner to prioritize work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Stand for entire shift on concrete and/or elevated platforms
• Tolerate cold temperatures of 45 degrees or less
• Palletize boxed products and scan them to complete customer orders
• Ensure accuracy of all orders being pulled
• Handle general paperwork, including picking lists, packing lists, bills of lading, and seals
• Follow all food and safety protocols
• Lift 70+ lbs

Requirements

• Must wear PPE
• Prior shipping experience is a plus
• Forklift/pallet jack experience required
• Good work history

Schedule

Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, starting at 6:30 AM until the end of production.
