What You’ll Do
- Lead and support Shipping team members to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant shipping operations.
- Prepare, stage, label, and verify customer shipments according to pick lists, packing slips, and shipping instructions.
- Review shipping documents for accuracy and report non-conformances or issues as needed.
- Organize finished goods and warehouse areas while supporting food safety, SQF, GMP, HACCP, and safety requirements.
- Perform ERP system transactions, support inventory cycle counts, and assist with warehouse projects.
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, barcode scanners, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Cook up with internal departments to support customer orders, shipping schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Backup the Shipping Manager as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED, with a college degree preferred.
- 3–6 years of related shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution experience, with previous supervisory, lead, or team coordination experience preferred.
- Forklift certification required.
- HazMat training required; DOT, IATA, and/or marine shipping experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Pay
Competitive salary range $25 - $30 per hour (pending experience).
