Shipping Supervisor

About the role

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing logistics operations including safety, scheduling, inventory management, and customer order fulfillment. Reporting to the Shipping Manager, this position ensures efficient and timely delivery of goods while managing costs.

Responsibilities

• Directs the work of multiple production employees to ensure a safe and productive work environment
• Safeguarding inventory levels and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Planning and scheduling logistics activities to meet customer order requirements
• Coordinating transportation processes to meet on-time delivery goals
• Managing freight costs and optimizing supply chain efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of logistics or shipping experience in a manufacturing setting
