Shipping & Receiving Packager

Duration: 3 months
Schedule: 5 days/week, 40 hours
Location: Grand Junction, CO

About the role

This opportunity supports a large-scale petrochemical and chemicals environment focused on packaging finished product, order output documentation, and shipping and receiving operations. The role works closely with production, maintenance, administrative, and laboratory personnel to help maintain a smooth flow of materials and information. This position offers hands-on involvement in bagging operations, inventory support, and warehouse activity within a safety-conscious industrial setting.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• One of the following is essential:
  • 5 years of petrochemical or chemical industry experience,
  • 4 years of military experience, or
  • 60 college credit hours.
• Experience working in an industrial environment supporting production, maintenance, shipping and receiving, or warehouse-related operations.

Responsibilities

• Weigh finished product into customer-specified bag sizes accurately.
• Fill and package pre-weighed bags into secondary containment for shipping.
• Document finished product consumption and final order output accurately.
• Support shipping and receiving activities and assist with inventory counts.
• Work effectively with production, maintenance, administrative, laboratory, and external trucking personnel.
