Shipping & Receiving Operator

About the role

Join The Gund Company, a manufacturing company that produces electrical insulation materials. We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Operator I to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, and package products for shipment
• Review work orders and ensure accuracy in quantities, documentation, and labeling
• Build containers (boxes, crates, skids) to protect product in transit
• Handle special shipping requirements, including international and regulated materials
• Load/unload shipments and support overall shipping operations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Identify ways to improve processes and help your team succeed

Requirements

• Reliable and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
• A team player who communicates well and supports others
• Adaptable when priorities shift or urgent orders come in
• Interested in learning new skills and growing over time

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or warehouse experience helpful but not required
