Shipping & Receiving Operator

About the role

As a Shipping & Receiving Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring efficient movement and storage of materials to support our daily production and distribution needs.

Responsibilities

• Drive a PIT (roughly 50% of the time)
• Manually lift and stack boxes onto shipping trucks
• Perform general maintenance of the forklift
• Manage customer requirements and storage logistics
• Cookout with departments for effective inventory management

Requirements

• Six (6) months relevant experience, previous experience operating a clamp truck, preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license
• Demonstration of basic math calculations and dimensional counting skills
• Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language
• Manual lifting and stacking of boxes (up to 25lbs.)

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety regulations and quality standards
• Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials
• Ensure damage-free stacking of products
• Coordinate with departments for effective inventory management

Skills

• Basic math calculations and dimensional counting skills
• English language proficiency
• Manual lifting and stacking of boxes (up to 25lbs.)

Pay

$21/hr plus $2/hr shift premium for overnight shifts

Schedule

Shift Availability: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
