Shipping/Receiving Material Handler

About the Role

Responsible for ensuring inventory integrity of material in our ERP system, order fulfillment processes, and completion of other value-added services as set forth by management to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment in accordance with safety guidelines, considering speed, visibility, and load size.
• Follows help chain process.
• Loads and unloads trucks in accordance with safety guidelines and work instructions.
• Conveys material to designated storage areas as per work instructions.
• Maintains inventory accuracy in ERP system.
• Maintains inventory through timely transfers of material to and from designated locations using scan guns and desktop tools.
• Supplies material support to all designated internal customers in accordance with work instructions.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety guidelines and 5S standards.
• Performs other duties as requested by Team Leads, Supervisor, or any other member of management staff.
• Follows environmental and quality standards as they pertain to job requirements.
• Maintains compliance with company policies and workplace rules.
• Ensures inventory integrity of all material controlled by the plant is maintained to standards set forth by management to meet customer needs in an acceptable time frame with the highest level of accuracy.

• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Overtime as required.
