About the role

The primary focus of this role is to manage the inbound and outbound flow of inventory and materials in and out of warehousing and production environments. The role will have a major responsibility to support activities across all areas of inventory, warehousing, and logistics at multiple locations. An ideal candidate is very organized and has experience in receiving material, logistics, inventory, and material movement best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate outbound material movements from warehouse and production environments to external customers and suppliers
  • Coordinate inbound material movements from receipt to warehousing
  • Collaborate with the production team in multiple areas to provide materials
  • Perform day-to-day operations which include the use of powerlifting equipment
  • Receive inbound parts/supplies and record quantities of materials to the ERP system
  • Validate inbound quality documents against check sheets
  • Maintain shipping documentation per BETA’s document retention program
  • Assist in counting physical inventory
  • Pick, pack, and schedule shipments
  • Decant parts and assemblies for production
  • Perform inbound inspection of parts, materials, and equipment
  • Conduct inventory management activities, including cycle counting
  • Create process standard work documentation and train team members on their contents
  • Work between multiple locations if needed
  • Use structured problem solving to identify the root cause of operational issues and develop corrective actions
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweeping, dusting, and mopping

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Forklift power lifting equipment experience
  • Previous work in a manufacturing environment with experience in aerospace, automotive, or a startup preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle setbacks and find solutions to challenging problems
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding environment
  • Ability to use judgment to make decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently but function as a team player
  • Experience with ERP systems (PLEX, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with MS Office

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment using OSHA required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and lift 75 pounds

Pay

$26—$31 USD per hour.
