Responsibilities
- Load and unload units and parts from transporting devices, by hand or using unit handling equipment.
- Stack and/or store items accordingly.
- Examine stock and shipping/receiving documents against packing list to verify quantity, weight, and condition of package.
- Prepare boxes for shipment by using shipping item protector or other packing equipment.
- Release prepared shipments to trucks for final delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Maintain all inventory, parts, and quantities organized by designated bin locations.
- Maintain all clerical paperwork organized.
- Consult all shipping and receiving issues with immediate supervisor.
- Report any safety deficiency to immediate supervisor.
- Manage control procedures and inventory management.
- Research and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with inventory processes and procedures.
- Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
- Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervisor.
- Maintain inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education degree (GED).
- One-year warehouse experience, cycle count, and inventory control.
- Computer literate (UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS, SAP, Word & Excel).
- Ability to perform simple math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Ability to operate various packing equipment and material handling equipment.
- Required to drive a forklift; experience as a Raymond Lift operator is a plus.
- Inbound and outbound freight control knowledge.
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to work in an open-air facility and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Work Environment
- Warehouse with mechanical hazards and moving objects.
