Inventory Clerk - Shipping and Receiving

Responsibilities

• Create parcel shipping labels & BOLs
• Schedule pickups
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Pick, pack, and ship orders
• Manage the parts warehouse location numbering system
• Be familiar with parts and systems sold by Hydraquip, Inc.
• Understand and operate all material handling equipment and tools
• Follow all shipping requirements and procedures
• Stock incoming orders
• Dispose of non-required or non-returnable parts
• Maintain records of scrapped parts
• Participate in physical inventory counts
• Resolve discrepancies in inventory levels
• Operate within company policies and procedures
• Enhance employee morale and maintain good relationships with departments
• Adhere to safety guidelines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical school certificate or associate degree preferred
• Two to five years of experience in shipping and receiving
• Experience in an ISO 9001 environment desired
• Strong personal and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and mechanical aptitude
• Physical stamina for manual labor and equipment operation
• Knowledge of warehousing practices and shipping methods
