Shipping/Receiving Forklift Operator (Mid-Shift)

About the role

Columbia Forest Products, North America’s largest manufacturer of hardwood plywood and hardwood veneer products, is seeking an experienced forklift operator for a mid-shift position (11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift efficiently and safely in a production setting.
• Achieve compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Follow written and verbal job instructions.
• Provide feedback and apply critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a shipping/receiving environment is preferred.
• Ability to use personal safety equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of forklift operation experience.

Skills

• Proficiency with forklift operations.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Pay

$18.50 per hour.
