SHIPPING & RECEIVING FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Job Description

• Load/unload trucks – with forklift equipment and by hand.
• Move and store rolls of cloth from cloth room to warehouse.
• Identify, hold and segregate defective or damage material.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions as required.
• Perform receiving and shipping inspections and identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments to determine a) quantity is as ordered b) no damage is apparent, and c) documentation is available as required.
• Perform physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document the receipt, shipment and control.
• Inspect lift (battery or gas) daily and perform maintenance on the vehicle and report any maintenance deficiencies.
• Drive box truck on property to move material.
• Maintain landscaping including cutting grass and weed eating property.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

• On the Job Training, no experience necessary!

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
