Responsibilities

  • Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against the DD Form 1348 documents.
  • Ensure shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles.
  • Prepare and maintain records of goods shipped, including DD Form 1348 and bill of lading, and track information in CMOS.
  • Complete web-based training for the Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-ARMY).
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Environment

  • Work in indoor and outdoor environments with various climates, including a warehouse with limited heating or cooling.
  • Physical activities include lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, climbing, prolonged standing or sitting, and working in areas with potential exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
  • Extended periods of sitting, computer work, data manipulation, and communication via email and telephone.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices may be required.
  • Compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations, and company work rules.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid REAL ID State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust and Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship (e.g., birth certificate or U.S. Passport).
  • Ability to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.

Experience

  • Experience with storage and warehouse functions, including requisition, receipt, storage, issue, and associated warehousing tasks.
  • Experience with the GCSS-Army system and CMOS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access preferred.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact at all levels and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
