Shipping & Receiving Clerk - SRC Technologies Group

About the role

You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and be responsible for performing shipping and receiving duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving duties.
• Verify and keep accurate records on shipments (incoming and outgoing).
• Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with Group Lead to rectify damages and shortages.
• Operate a fork truck to lift/move or hoist receiving materials from the receiving area to storage or work area.
• Stock shelves using FIFO methodology.
• Count incoming parts accurately.
• Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being an owner of the company.

Requirements

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Follow safety standards.
• Wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
• Work attendance must be exemplary.

Other Duties And Responsibilities:

• Combine like parts into locations.
• Cycle count.
• Participate in the processes of continuous improvement.
• Operator is responsible for all area housekeeping.
• Able to effectively perform similar positions on the floor at any point in time.
• Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization's goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
