Core Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents for completeness and accuracy, and deliver to the appropriate personnel or location
- Enter shipment information and resolve discrepancies in customer secure management system
- Prepare outbound packages, including large freight shipments (stretch-wrapping and banding pallets), ensuring all required paperwork and documentation are completed
- Safely lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 pounds) and operate a pallet jack
- Utilize FedEx Shipping interfaces (experience is a plus)
- Communicate issues effectively in both oral and written terms with customers and co-workers
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, remove empty pallets, organize workstation at the end of the day, and respond to emails
- Use general Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.) for daily tasks
- Adhere to best practices regarding industrial hygiene and workplace safety
- Perform basic mathematical calculations as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with prior shipping and receiving experience
- Additional education in Supply Chain or related fields is a plus
- Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic
- Extremely dependable and productivity minded; able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills; capable of managing multiple competing priorities
- Strong computer skills with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel or similar software
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Highly organized and assertive; able to work effectively with diverse team members in a collaborative environment
Day In The Life
- Spend most of your time in a warehouse and shipping environment
- Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs.), standing, moving, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
- Regularly communicate with team members and use computers for data entry and communication

Pay Range
The estimated pay range for this position is $17-21.50 per hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
