Responsibilities
- Lift, unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains record of received goods.
- Maintains record of received goods.
- Receives internal PO’s requested via email.
- Transfers material into storage locations.
- Pick and deliver Accessory work orders and raw material stock requisitions to various departments.
- Operates hand and powered material handling equipment.
- Loads, unloads, delivers materials, chemicals and other products including 55-gallon drums.
- Stacks, stores chemicals in chemical shed and maintains rotation of drums to ensure first in first out stock.
- Pick/pack prepare hazardous & nonhazardous, domestic & international customer orders for final shipment to the customer.
- Cycle counting and physical inventory.
- Prepare Hazmat documentation.
- Codifies with freight-forwarders/carrier activities.
Requirements
- MUST have forklift experience
- High school or GED
- 2-4 years of related Shipping and Receiving experience
- Experience with shipping domestic and international using third party systems (ex: FedEx, UPS)
- Computer skills using PC and radio frequency devices; understanding warehouse operations
- Candidate needs to be able to stand, lift (up to 50 pounds), bend/squat, push/pull
- Pallet jack experience
