About the role
Join Theragenics as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk and help ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of our product distribution. This role supports the delivery of life-saving medical devices used in cancer treatments and other minimally invasive procedures.
Responsibilities
- Build kits for work orders by pulling the correct parts, lots, and quantities
- Follow FIFO and labeling rules to prevent mix-ups
- Document material issues clearly for traceability (part, lot, quantity)
- Handle exceptions the right way, such as shortages, unclear callouts, label mismatches, and returns from production
- Keep the kitting area organized so work moves fast and accurately
- Verify deliveries against packing lists and purchase orders (item, quantity, paperwork)
- Apply receiving labels, route material appropriately, and scan and file documentation
- Escalate discrepancies, visible damage, or contamination concerns promptly and clearly
- Support staging, packing, labeling, and paperwork completion
- Help ensure shipments match requirements and documentation is complete before release
- Support record scanning and retention tied to shipment records
- Maintain clean, accurate stock locations and labeling discipline
- Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy activities as needed

Production Kitting
Primary responsibility for building kits for work orders, following FIFO and labeling rules to prevent mix-ups, documenting material issues, handling exceptions, keeping the kitting area organized, and verifying deliveries against packing lists and purchase orders.
Receiving
Cross-trained to verify deliveries against packing lists and purchase orders, apply receiving labels, route material appropriately, and scan and file documentation. Escalate discrepancies, visible damage, or contamination concerns promptly and clearly.
Shipping
Cross-trained to support staging, packing, labeling, and paperwork completion. Help ensure shipments match requirements and documentation is complete before release. Support record scanning and retention tied to shipment records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a stockroom, warehouse, shipping and receiving, or manufacturing support role
- Comfort with scanners and computer-based data entry
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow written procedures every day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for most of the shift
Preferred qualifications
- ERP experience (any system)
- Prior kitting, material handling, inventory control, or cycle counting experience
Physical requirements
- Standing and walking throughout the shift
- Lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs (including occasional awkward items)
- Using material handling equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (as applicable)
