Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities

• Load/unload freight trucks
• Handle raw material safely and properly
• Package items and finished product to and from warehouses and production facilities
• Organize warehouse in accordance with warehouse manager’s specifications
• Operate forklift, filler/ladder, and stretch wrap machine in a safe and proper manner
• Ensure all containers that contain material are labeled
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• 1+ year(s) of forklift experience required (2 years preferred)
• Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification within 30 calendar days from the first day of employment
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs frequently during shift
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Ability to stoop and bend frequently
• Flexibility to work fluctuating hours/shifts and weekends
