Position Summary The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for the administrative support needed to ensure efficient operations within the Williamsport, MD warehouse. Essential Job Functions And Accountabilities Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation. Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues to management. Accurately enter receiving information into inventory management systems or company records. Label, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Maintain accurate records of received products and inventory transactions. Assist with inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation activities. Communicate shortages, overages, and damaged goods to appropriate personnel. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed. Keep receiving and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.Experience using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for inventory tracking, receiving transactions, and material management.Experience using IFS ERP software for receiving, inventory management, and transaction processing preferred.Experience processing and tracking shipments using UPS WorldShip or similar shipping software.Ability to accurately enter, maintain, and retrieve data from company systems.Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, bills of lading, and receiving documentation.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with vendors, carriers, production personnel, and internal departments.Communicate shortages, overages, and damaged goods to appropriate personnel.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.Keep receiving and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.
