Duties And Responsibilities
- Verifies items received by inspecting condition of items and comparing count/measure of items to Purchase Order and packing list.
- Verifies entered customer account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data as necessary.
- Supports overall logistics and material handling needs throughout the shop.
- Packages, protects, and labels shipments.
- Generates labels and maintains equipment using computer hardware and software.
- Makes arrangements for transport and prepares shipping documents.
- Prepares invoices and maintains inventories.
- Ensures products processed for shipping are delegated to correct couriers.
- Operates equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move or hoist materials.
- Ensures AIT tools are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and Foreign Object Damage.
- Audits receipt of product.
- Improves internal processes continually.
- Maintains inventory control and warehouse organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education And Work Experience
- High School diploma or GED with one to three years related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Familiarity with warehouse and inventory controls is essential.
- An ability to read design drawings for Bills of Material (BOMs) is desirable.
- Follow processes and standard procedures.

Work Conditions
- Environment Type: Indoor. Production environment. Temperature controlled, unless products and/or equipment is located outdoors.
- Exposure Types: Bloodborne pathogens, Small and/or enclosed spaces, Dirt, dust, grease and/or oil, Extreme cold or heat (weather), Noisy environment.
- Physical Demands: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms; Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more; Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another; Operate a motor vehicle, forklift, and/or other heavy equipment; Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
Work Hours
- Standard work schedule, overtime may be necessary for meeting deadlines.
- Overtime may be necessary for meeting customer production demands.
Travel Requirements
- This position may involve travel up to 5% of the time.
