Shipping & Receiving Clerk – 2nd Shift, Rochester, NY

About the role

Polymer Resources is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk for our Rochester, NY facility. We compound Engineering Thermoplastic materials used in Injection Molding and Profile Extrusion applications across Medical, Automotive, Consumer, and Industrial markets. As a service company specializing in Custom Colored products and tailored material properties, we maintain on-time delivery rates exceeding 99% with low returns and anticipate double-digit growth over the next three years. Responsibilities

• Perform accurate manual and automated tasks for receipt, storage, staging, and shipment of products
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Operate ERP systems and handheld scanners
• Maintain organization and timeliness in all duties
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication with colleagues at all levels
• Handle raw and finished goods safely and efficiently
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Load and unload tractor trailers using a forklift

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and scanning technology

Skills

• Manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Forklift operation preferred; training provided for motivated candidates
