Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
- This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
- Follow all written instructions where provided, pack completed parts for shipping and unpack parts for processing
- Continuously perform visual inspection of parts for damages or issues that must be addressed before shipping to customer
- Record and sign off on all applicable process steps defined in the job folder for each shipping operation
- Locate all shipping containers and make appropriate and safe use of shipping and receiving materials and equipment
- Observe all Environmental, Health and Safety Policy requirements:
- Using Forklift
- Using floor jacks
- Using hoist
- Keeping work area neat and orderly at all times
- Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Absorb and assist others as directed by Customer Service Manager
Qualifications
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent
- May be asked to work overtime or any shift, including weekends
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language
Physical & Mental Demands
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment.
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone

Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
