Shipping & Receiving

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming materials, comparing packing slips with purchase orders to verify shipment accuracy; process return shipments from customers.
• Sort, count, package, label, insure, unpack, and/or log inventory that is shipped or received.
• Inspect shipments for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including continuous quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 6 months of shipping/receiving experience in a production environment.
