Partner with the best As a Shipping/Receiving Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, inspection, storage, and shipment of materials and products. You will help maintain efficient material flow while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. In this role, you will work closely with operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to support customer requirements and business objectives through timely and accurate execution of shipping and receiving processes. As a Shipping/Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for: Performing shipping, receiving, inspection, and order fulfillment activities in accordance with established policies and proceduresReceiving incoming materials and verifying quantities, condition, and documentation accuracyPreparing outbound shipments, packaging materials, and coordinating delivery requirementsInspecting materials and products to ensure compliance with quality and inventory requirementsCompleting order fulfillment activities accurately and on scheduleMaintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling, storage, and documentation of materialsOperating warehouse equipment and tools in a safe and efficient mannerSupporting material movement activities across warehouse and production areasFollowing all company safety procedures, work instructions, and operational guidelinesMaintaining accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records using company systems and software Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a High School Diploma or equivalent educationDemonstrate the ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionPossess the ability to read and interpret instructions, safety procedures, and work documentationDemonstrate effective written communication skills, including the ability to document information accuratelyHave strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholdersBe capable of working independently while maintaining compliance with work rules, quality standards, and safety requirementsDemonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to meet deadlinesBe willing to work overtime as required to support business needs Preferred Qualifications Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, dollies, freight elevators, automatic dock plates, and chain hoistsFamiliarity with shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environmentExperience using Microsoft Office applications, email systems, and shipping softwareAbility to use scales, packing materials, ladders, hand tools, and other warehouse-related equipmentKnowledge of inventory control and material handling best practicesExperience working with courier systems and shipping documentation Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too. The employer is unable to sponsor work authorization for this role at any time. The hourly pay scale for this position is between 19.02 - 25.36 - 31.69 USD. Candidates for this role (office-based) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum pay for this position at the time of posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires. Full-time salaries in some U.S. locations may not include equity or benefits. Where an applicant ultimately falls within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time.
