Shipping & Receiving Associate

About the role
This role independently performs shipping and receiving activities and supports inventory accuracy and documentation at our Dyco Electronics facility in Hornell, NY. The Shipping & Receiving Associate II works with limited supervision, assists with training, inventory activities, and resolves shipping or receiving discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare, package, and ship domestic and international orders
- Receive materials, verify accuracy, and resolve discrepancies
- Generate and review shipping documentation and carrier paperwork
- Support inventory transactions and cycle counts
- Assist with training Associate I or backup employees
- Maintain compliance with shipping, safety, and quality standards
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2–4 years of shipping and receiving experience
- ERP and shipping system experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a production or shipping environment
