Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming inventory items.
- Inspect products for defects and damages.
- Note any damages on driver’s BOL, and let supervisors know.
- Receive incoming inventory into computer system.
- Investigate and report any discrepancies from packing slip.
- Place inventory items in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Maintain warehouse product organization.
- Monitor warehouse stock levels and identify when replenishing is necessary.
- Scan all packing slips and BOL.
- Purchase Parts Returns:
- Receive incoming returns and move to appropriate location.
- Notify supervisor.
- Pack and ship returns with appropriate paperwork.
- Shipments:
- Ensure shipment accuracy.
- Print shipment picklists, purchase orders, and sales orders.
- Prepare any private label products for shipment (repackaging, labeling, etc).
- Pull inventory for each shipment and apply appropriate labels.
- Check products ready for shipment vs pick list. Investigate and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Adjust shipment and computer inventory if any inventory discrepancies.
- Accurately enter box contents into computer.
- Contact inside sales or engineering groups for any inspection questions.
- Palletize finished shipment for daily UPS/FedEx/LTL pickup.
- Clean up area daily
- Receiving / Shipping Area:
- Keep space clean and organized.
- Place tools on the pegboard and bins.
- Break down boxes and place in recycling bailer.
- Keep aisles and floor space open.
- 2-5 years of Inventory management or stockroom control management experience.
- Parts kitting and stock allocation experience.
- Multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to run basic computer programs and printing/scanning.
