Shipping/Receiving 2nd Shift

About the Role

Prepare finished cores for shipment to local, national, and international customers. Assemble product according to procedure, enter data into computer, and create shipping documentation. Deliver parts to plants in Northeast Ohio using a company-owned truck.

Responsibilities

• Follow written procedures as instructed
• Sort finished cores by FR, and by mix lot if needed
• Enter serial numbers into computer; check for exceptions using stored data and scrap out cores as needed
• Generate shipping documentation and close out internal routers
• Visually inspect and verify product count and documentation
• Pack cores according to procedure
• Verify deliveries and receive in Siteline
• Troubleshoot issues and errors
• Perform truck runs to various locations several times a day
• Meet department productivity and yield standards
• Follow and adhere to all safety procedures
• Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
• Other duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements

• Good interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and internal employees
• Detail-oriented
• Team player
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record for Company Drivers Policy
• Ability to lift 35 lbs on a regular basis
• Computer literate
• Ability to learn multiple new programs
