Shipping Receiver Day Shift 6am-2pm

About the role

The Fastener Solutions business unit of Avery Dennison is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team in Fitchburg, MA. This position works Day Shift from 6am-2pm.

Responsibilities

• Pick and process outgoing customer orders
• Communicate effectively internally and externally for effective order fulfillment
• Use powered lift equipment, pallet jacks and forklifts to move and properly store materials
• Work with computers, scanners, scales and other related equipment to perform duties
• Count, inventory and calculate receipts and shipments
• Verify quality of processed orders
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Unloading containers manually and with powered lift equipment
• Repacking of product (RMA and Customer Labels)
• Picking and assembling samples
• Distributing raw material and packaging to production
• Processing UPS as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required and/or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 1 year + experience in a warehousing, stockroom or closely related role required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly each day
• Proven skill with warehousing, inventory and shipping/receiving
• Proven communication and organizational skills
• Exceptional teamwork skills
• Must be computer literate. Experience with data entry required. Other computer skills are a plus
• Basic Forklift experience is preferred
• Aspires and is willing to learn different functions within the WHS and operation

Qualifications
