We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Shipping Operations Manager. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing shipping and loading processes, managing a team, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our products. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Cook up shipment schedules with manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams to support delivery commitments.
- Maintain workflow and staffing levels to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to prioritize shipments and align logistics activities with production schedules.
- Work with carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely product movement.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, transportation issues, and customer delivery concerns.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Support inventory accuracy and material flow initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required; additional logistics, transportation, or supply chain education is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, manufacturing, or distribution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational performance.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Working knowledge of freight coordination, shipment scheduling, and warehouse operations.
- Experience collaborating across departments to achieve operational goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business operating systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
