Responsibilities
- Oversee the international and domestic shipping of all Ultradent products.
- Ensure all international shipments are processed in compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
- Maintain, train, and manage shipping teams to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
- Lead projects and assess fulfillment results to improve shipping practices.
- Manage all shipping departmental expenses related to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Control costs through productivity of personnel.
- Identify process bottlenecks and coordinate the implementation of solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Promote a team environment and works collaboratively to achieve team goals.
- Lead by example to actively promote ethical business behavior and organizational values and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Establish and update SOPs as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a global shipping environment, with progressive management responsibility across multiple transportation and compliance platforms.
- Current certifications in IATA, 49 CFR, and IMDG regulations are strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in international shipping and trade compliance, including the use of HTS codes and import/export regulations, documentation, and procedures is ideal.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a proven track record of identifying process inefficiencies, implementing solutions, and delivering measurable operational improvements.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Computer skills to perform this job successfully. An individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; inventory software, manufacturing software, warehouse management software and possess general email writing and online research skills.
